20th Anniversary Mark 

Parts of the Mark

The mark incorporated our logo (the fleur-de-lis), and our theme: Sojourn Together: Celebrating 20 Years.

Through history, one symbol for the church is a ship—a vessel that brings us safely through waves and storms. I designed the mark to look like the steering wheel of a ship.

For centuries, sailors used stars to navigate. In keeping with the nautical theme, I also set Sojourn’s logo in between the sea and the stars—six stars for six Sojourn churches.

The banner in the mark is an S for Sojourn—the name of our voyage together.

The 20th anniversary campaign tied into our brand by incorporating our brand colors and typography.
